Mica and Myla: the mother daughter duo

Mica Hendricks has been sketching and drawing in her free time most of her life. She has a four year old daughter named Myla who likes drawing just as much as her mother. Mica has always been very serious about her artwork and didn't want Myla to scribble and mess them up until one day Myla said to her, "If you can't share, we'll have to take it away." After hearing this from her daughter she decided to start collaberating with her daughter when it came to art. Mica draws certain elements of a picture and then lets her daughter finish them. The results are quite different and still look great.

I was drawn to the artist and her daughter because it was somthing different I had never seen before. It's a new idea you would never expect someone to do. The best part I believe it to be is that it is a daughter and mother working together to create these pictures in thier free time out of pure enjoyment.

Although these certain artworks have gotten alot of attention, they are not the only ones that Mica does. She creates many other drawings individually and she also is a tattoo artist. She has created many different artworks she posts on her blog.
